+ What are the general requirements for Calvary Leadership College?

Faith: all of our students and staff have professed Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior. Graduation: all of our students must have a high-school diploma or GED equivalent. Academics: all of our students are held to a high academic standard and are expected to maintain a B average (3.0 or higher) while enrolled in CLC.

+ What is my schedule like? Are there any days off?
The CLC schedule requires your full-time engagement. Every week in CLC is different. Students take classes full-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and serve in various ministries of Calvary Church. Weekly responsibilities include discipleship, ministry projects and community outreach opportunities. Each Monday and most Saturdays are given as free days.

+ Can I have a job in Calvary Leadership College?
Students may choose to work up to 10 hours a week, but employers must be made aware that Calvary Leadership College is the highest priority and attendance for all CLC events is expected.

+ Do I need to have a car?
No, you do not need a car, however, we recommend that if you have access to a car that you do bring it. If you do not already have access to a car, there is no need to buy one. Housing accommodations are located about 15 minutes from the Calvary Church. Students are encouraged to carpool.

+ Do I have to enroll at Evangel University?
Yes, as education takes place inside and outside of the classroom, your time in school is a valuable part to your CLC experience. If you have other arrangements, please contact us.

+ Can I transfer credits?
Yes, Evangel University has the highest accreditation and will transfer to any other university. We recommend contacting student services through EU just to be sure your courses will line up with your college plan.

+ Can I be enrolled part-time?
No, students will be enrolled in a full-time schedule (15 credit hours) and will be taking 2 courses at a time for 8 week periods. For more information on what that will look like, visit our "Education" tab.

+ Is housing included? Where will I live?
Housing is not included in the cost of Calvary Leadership College. Students may choose to live in residential properties of Calvary Church, located in the historic district of downtown Naperville, IL for an additional cost of $350/mo. All CLC residences are supervised by a trained resident assistant (RA). CLC residences are approximately 15 minutes from Calvary Church.

+ Can I live off campus?
Yes, students may choose to commute to Calvary Leadership College from home.

The deadline to apply is May 1st, 2019. While late applications may be accepted, please note that all applications submitted after this date will incur a $15 late fee. We kindly ask that all application materials are submitted on time.

+ What if I have not heard back from you?
After you submit your completed application, and we have received your pastoral reference, you will get a response within a few weeks.

You can apply for fiancial aid at FAFSA.gov, or through Evangel's tuition and aid portal. Please see our FAFSA page for more information about finacial aid.

We prefer the pastoral reference form to be completed by your pastor at your home church. If you do not have this option, another personal reference will suffice.

+ Do I get to choose what ministries I will be involved in?
Students will select up to 3 practicum options. For the first year, students will be in one practicum for one semester, and a different practicum the next semester. The following year, students will select one practicum for the entire year. The practicum you choose will determine where you spend your time for services on Wednesday and Sunday.

+ Is my participation required for services and events at Calvary Church?
Yes. Our heart is for the local church, and it remains the center of what we do. Weekend services and events at Calvary are an integral part to the CLC experience and an invaluable part to your personal growth.

+ What should I bring?
After you have been accepted into the CLC program, we recommend you bring only your needs for living and going to school. We recommend you wait until you move in before you bring the majority of your beloginings. A packing list will be sent to all accepted students a few weeks before move in.

+ Is there a dating policy?
One of the most important goals at Calvary Leadership College is to help you lay the right foundation for the rest of your life – to facilitate your growth and help you develop Christian character with biblical principles. As a CLC Student, this is your season to dedicate yourself to the Lord. For the first year of CLC, we ask that you refrain from dating. This includes semester breaks and holidays. We believe this will help you to focus on God's voice to better discern his calling on your life.

+ How much does CLC cost?
The cost of CLC is $9,440 per year. This does not include the books through Evangel University or housing. For all full breakdown and explanation of costs, please visit our financial page.

+ What about the Missions Experience?
We are in the process of finalizing our missions calendar for the 2019-20 semester, and will have details on what that will look like shortly. Calvary and the Assemblies of God have always been about supporting and sending missionaries, and we have every intention to build that into our curriculum here at CLC.
